Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join out on-campus clinic that can provide clinical expertise to ensure all children and staff receive high quality, efficient care. Our clinic is made up of an amazing team that works hard to support each other and the agency. We are looking for a phenomenal addition like you, who feels child and patient care is as meaningful as we do. We would love for you to apply now!!

What you will do in this role:

The LPN in this role will administer health services appropriate to the individual needs of children in care and coordinate effectively with the families. It is imperative that the individual in this role complies with internal and external agency regulation regarding required health care of residents, employees, and volunteers.

Schedule is Monday - Friday, every other weekend with choice of days off during that week to encourage work-life balance.

  • Ensure that Agency standards of practice, as well as, State, Federal and Accreditation standards are fully met.
  • Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner meeting all standards of content and professional presentation.
  • Provide preventitive health care for disease and injury to the children in the agency programs by facilitating necessary nursing, medical, dental and related care to accomplish this purpose either by the performance of specific skilled nursing procedures, including nursing assessment, or scheduling the necessary care with the appropriate health care practitioner.
  • Dispense medication without error to children as ordered.

** Perform any and all miscellaneous job duties as may be required from time to time.**

Qualifications required:

  • Licensed in New York State and graduate of an accredited Licensed Professional Nursing Program.
  • Pediatric/psychiatric experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and minimum insurability requirements during employment.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
